The Council of Small Business of Australia has partnered up with Vodafone to again present the National Small Business Summit.
The theme of this year’s summit is the Power and the People. The summit will shine a spotlight on the nation’s 3 million small businesses who collectively employ 4.5 million Australians and generate over 3 billion dollars of revenue to the Australian economy.
The summit will bring together key influencers in the small business sector. Kate Carnell (Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman) the ACCC and the Council of Small Business Australia (COSBOA) will all feature at the event.
COSBOA CEO Peter Strong suggested the summit will attract key decision makers across all areas of small business and said sessions will include topics such as emerging industry issues, regulations, workplace wellbeing and the economy.
“The power of the Vodafone National Small Business Summit is the involvement of the full representation of the issues affecting the small business community such as policy, government, finance and even taxation, who come together to discuss the real challenges and what can be done to support the future of this sector,” Strong told KBB.
“In 2018, the Summit encourages participation via interactive sessions which will address the challenges and changes of small businesses head on.
“The Summit is the meeting place to connect with key stakeholders and politicians, ask the tough questions, get some answers and help shape the future of small businesses,” Strong concluded.
The Vodafone National Small Business Summit 2018 takes place on Thursday 30 – Friday 31 August 2018 at the Swissôtel Sydney
