Uber for Business joins Xero Connect

Small business owners using Uber for their travel needs will now spend less time reconciling their expenses with Uber for Business now integrating with Xero removing the need for manual data entry.

Uber for Business simplifies the expense process for businesses and their employees and helps improve cash flow with monthly billing. Instead of paying per trip, organisations can apply for monthly billing, eliminating the hassle of handling multiple trips and receipts from employees.

The new integration with Xero enhances this experience for small businesses, enabling the monthly Uber for Business statement to flow seamlessly into their Xero account — helping to save time, to remove manual data entry and to increase the accuracy of invoices.

Jared Baker, Platform Growth Director, Xero Australia said: “No one starts a small business so that they can spend time on admin. That’s why we have set up Xero Connect — to reduce the administrative burden of processing and paying supplier invoices. Knowing how popular Uber for Business is amongst our customers, we are thrilled to be introducing the new integration in Australia and New Zealand today. A business’ monthly Uber for Business statement will now flow seamlessly into Xero.”

Xero is the first online accounting platform to partner with Uber for Business in Australia and New Zealand.
