Busy Australians are yearning for human connection when it comes to outsourcing tasks, despite more people now utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the form of virtual assistants and voice-activated technology such as Amazon Alexa and Siri says Caroline Guillemain-Brunne founder of Organise.Curate.Design.

Organise.Curate.Design is a lifestyle management company that helps people from all walks of life tackle their ever-growing to-do lists. Comprising of a team of human ‘Life Assistants’, they work with busy people to reduce their mental load and buy back time.

Guillemain-Brunne said that despite the advancements that are happening in the AI & technology space, people still want to work with people.

“The world is becoming busier and people are feeling the stress more than ever. Technology is keeping us connected, but it can also be so isolating. Because of this, people crave a human connection, especially when it comes to outsourcing personal tasks,” said Guillemain-Brunne.

“We find that our clients want a friendly face, someone who knows their favourite food or what their child’s best friends name is. Those human details are really special and are the knowledge that we pride ourselves on as Life Assistants,” she added.

Guillemain-Brunne added most common tasks that people outsource are the things they don’t enjoy doing and by outsourcing them, they can help buy back time to do more enjoyable things like spending time with loved ones.

“The top activities people tend to outsource include meal planning, enrolling children in sporting activities and booking care arrangement, sourcing service providers such as cleaners and gardeners and setting up family schedules and calendars.”

“Everyone is running low on time. We’re more connected and online for more hours a day, our children are doing more activities and sports and on top of that, all we’re trying to manage life admin like paying bills and booking appointments,” Ms Guillemain-Brunne said.

“Our clients are mainly working parents with school aged children, some of which are small business owners. They come to us because they are burning themselves from both ends and don’t feel like they have enough time to live their lives. By outsourcing to Organise.Curate.Design, people are getting their lives back.”
