Local business owner, Jodie McGregor of Jodie McGregor Flowers has been named as the winner of the Optus My Business, Retail Business of the Year Award – paving the way for success of small businesses in Annandale and the wider Inner West area.
Jodie McGregor has been recognised by the awards for building her business from the ground up over the last 17 years to become one of the most successful and in demand florists in Sydney’s Inner West.
In addition to her strong customer relationships in the local area, Jodie has innovated her business to include a members club, Flower Addicts; offering points for purchase and birthday treats, plus a second online business, emergencyflowers.com.au for last minute flower orders, with the aim of expanding her growing customer base.
Speaking about what the award means to her, Jodie hopes her win will inspire other businesses in the in the local area.
“It’s a great feeling to be recognised in the Optus My Business Awards. Since we opened our doors 17 years ago, our number one goal has been to provide great quality, beautiful flowers and a personalised approach to customer service to the local community and this really has been the key to our success.”
