The key speakers for the COSBOA National Small Business Summit have been announced. Politicians and small business lobbyists feature heavily in the speaker lineup for the two-day event.
The Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman, Kate Carnell will lead the discussion and debate on how the Australian regulators are planning to support small business in 2019. In this session business owners will hear from the Australian Tax Office (ATO), Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), Fair Work Organisation (FWO) and the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). and have the opportunity to ask the hard questions on behalf of themselves or their small business community.
Other speakers confirmed to attend include the Minister for Small Business, Michaelia Cash, Neil Coulson (Victorian Skills Commission), Julie Owens (Shadow Minister for Small Business) Judy O’Connell (Victorian Small Business Commissioner) and Angus Taylor (Minister for Energy).
