Aussie startup Metigy is partnering with Optus to provide the telco’s small business customers with AI-driven social media support.
The phone and internet provider’s435,000 SMB customers can now access Metigy’s automated social media marketing programs, which use predictive technology to guide effective, efficient marketing decisions.
MetigyCEO and Co-Founder, David Fairfull, said the startup was looking forward to providing digital strategy solutions for Optus’ SMB customers and potential customers. “Optus has demonstrated its commitment not only to driving innovation, but to supporting SMBs by partnering with us to make this a reality,” Fairfull said.
Matthew Ball, Vice President of Small Medium businesses at Optus, said Metigy will provide SMBs with a cost-effective simple way to use data to connect with customers.
“Technology offers SMBs insights and saves them time, providing an advantage against competitors. However, we know many SMBs struggle to implement solutions for a variety of reasons, including cost, fear of change and simply being overwhelmed by what is on offer.”
In 2018 Metigy was named a finalist in Optus SMB’s inaugural Innovation Challenge, an Optus-led competition calling for technology solutions which can help SMB to grow digitally.
Metigy’s approach delivers insights rather than expect users to review the data, then suggests real-time, actionable recommendations with clear explanations of the opportunity and forecasted benefit.
