NAB collaborates with Sendle to improve parcel delivery for small business

- June 16, 2016 2 MIN READ

NAB has announced that they will be helping to improve parcel delivery for their Australian small business customers as they have partnered with Sendle.

Sendle is Australia’s first door-to-door carbon neutral delivery service and today’s announcement is the latest of several high-profile collaborations, with Etsy and Virgin Velocity already using their service, reinforcing their commitment to helping Australian small businesses grow.

Co-founder and CEO of Sendle, James Chin Moody said, “NAB is Australia’s largest provider of banking services to the small business sector. Just like Sendle, they are passionate about helping small businesses succeed. We are proud to be connecting with a like-minded organisation to help make parcel delivery easier for their customers around the country.”

NAB small business customers will now have access to free Sendle Premium accounts, normally valued at $120 per year, as well as saving $1 off on every delivery in the next 12 months.

Tim Heathcote of MDM Dance has been using the service for his small business and said, “Sendle provides a much more reliable system to support our customer orders and delivery. We believe good business is founded on relationships built on trust. Sendle’s values align with ours as we are both committed to providing a personalised service which values each customer.”

Reliable parcel delivery has long been a problem for small businesses looking to deliver locally and internationally.

Using the service, NAB small business customers will no longer need to travel to and queue up off-site in order to send a package and can save 40 percent on an average small package.

Leigh O’Neill, NAB’s micro and small business manager, said “Our customers tell us they would like more support in saving time and controlling expenses. Sendle is changing the face of parcel delivery in Australia and we’re thrilled to be joining with them to help our small business customers grow.”

Sendle’s flat rate national pricing will allow NAB small business customers to send a 2kg parcel from Melbourne to Perth for $9.75 rather than paying $19.15 to line up at the post office.

Sendle’s mission is to help small business take on big businesses by levelling the logistics playing field. It unlocks big business delivery networks and makes them available to small businesses through its simple and affordable door-to-door delivery service that includes easy online booking and full parcel tracking. Sendle is also Australia’s first 100% carbon neutral delivery service and a certified B Corporation.
