Leading business solution, MYOB, is shifting its game plan to double down on the small business market by revealing a reimagined version of its MYOB Business product, in the hope that it will encourage more small business owners to make the shift to the cloud.
The new and improved MYOB Business will grow with businesses as they scale. It will allow business owners to tailor a solution that suits their needs by taking a module approach to business tools.
Digitisation ket to business growth
According to MYOB modelling, one in five small businesses have no or low levels of digitisation. Conversely, small businesses that adopt advanced levels of digitisation are 50 per cent more likely to grow revenue.
Greg Ellis, CEO of MYOB, said the redesign of the MYOB platform recognised the unique needs of Australia’s small business owners. The new offering seeks to deliver a digital solution that supports business owners’ ambitions at a time when digitisation has never been more important. Ellis said MYOB has spent the last few years redeveloping the product to meet the challenges faced by small businesses.
“We want to make accessing the right solution simple and easy for business owners, accountants and bookkeepers alike so they can spend more time on higher-value tasks required to grow their business,” Ellis said.
Making digital solutions accessible
The new MYOB Business combines the Essentials and AccountRight product lines on a single SaaS platform, allowing customers to seamlessly move between subscription plans as their business evolves, and configure their product in a way that’s right for them. There are a number of subscription plans available as well as a soon to offered payroll only option for businesses with under 4 employees.
“We are excited to offer a customer experience that removes the time and cost inefficiencies that come from moving across a range of products. MYOB Business is underpinned by MYOB’s new platform, delivering an improved customer experience and bringing additional benefits of the cloud, including ongoing software enhancements,” Ellis said.
“MYOB Business, and its flexible new pricing plans, is designed to make it easy and affordable for businesses of all sizes and stages of maturity. The SaaS model allows for greater security than on-site solutions as well as continuous feature updates.
“MYOB Business integrates easily with our online invoice payments and invoice finance solutions to help customers with cashflow, which will be vital with so many coming out of lockdown. We plan to release more additions to the product early next year,” ellis concluded.
