Small business advocates, entrepreneurs and mentors came together at a special event to honour the Top 10 honourees from the KBB Power List.
Speaking at the event, small business advocate and Sunrise host David Koch paid tribute to the Top 10 for their contribution to the small business and startup sector.
Koch described the Top 10 as inspiring and a testament to the wealth of talent in the small business and startup ecosystem.
The intimate event was well attended by small business luminaries including the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise ombudsman, Kate Carnell, COSBOA CEO Peter Strong and Austrade CEO Dr Stephanie Fahey.
The KBB Power List in partnership with Google Ads was curated by the Pinstripe Media publishing team and focused on the people who have made a profound impact on the startup and small business space.
“Role models and mentors have a very important function in any individual or business’s success story, they not only act as a standard for us to measure ourselves, but they also serve as an inspiration for us to do better and to try harder,” said Kochie’s Business Builders editor Cec Busby.
“When our publishing team put together the Power List we decided to spotlight the people we think are truly having an impact on the small business and startup ecosystem. So, yes, there are some very recognisable names on the list but also quite a few unsung heroes and changemakers we believe are truly shifting the landscape,” Busby said.
