The Minister for Energy and Emissions Reductions, Angus Taylor, will share his insights with small business advocates and owners at the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA) annual Summit in Melbourne later this month.
The minister will take a deep dive into where we are heading with power and energy policies and explore what the government can do to drive down prices for small business owners.
COSBOA CEO Peter Strong believes the conversation is long overdue, with rising energy costs of major concern to the nation’s business owners.
“The cost of energy impacts every single small business – whether they work from home, have an office or a shop, they need energy.
“This address is always key to understanding which direction we are headed in for the future, especially with a newly formed Government, and we look forward to once again welcoming Minister Taylor to the Summit,” said Strong.
The theme of this year’s conference is Policy for the People. Strong urges small business owners and advocates to attend to in order to have their say on shaping small business policy for the future.
COSBOA National Small Business Summit takes place in Melbourne, 29-30 August. Find out more www.cosboansbs.com.au
