Finder’s founders, Fred Schebesta and Frank Restuccia will play host at an exclusive one-time only lunch event in Sydney next week.
Schebesta and Restuccia will share their journey of launching Finder through its first decade of growth with no funding, and moving from a ‘fast follower’ startup to a ‘first mover’ in the comparison space.
The dynamic duo hopes their journey will provide startups and small business owners with the confidence they need to take their business to the next level.
A decade on from launching Finder in their living room in Sydney, the two self-made millionaires both recently debuted on the Australian Financial Review Young Rich List. The Finder business is today valued at $246 million, and operates in 83 countries with 10 million visits each month.
In 2018 the pair expanded their empire, launching a venture capital arm, Finder Ventures, to build and incubate new business ideas.
The first business to launch was a cryptocurrency brokerage, HiveEx.com, which traded over $100 million in its first year. Their next endeavour is to improve access to banking products and make it easier to compare by launching the Finder App early next year, leveraging new technology and Open Banking legislation.
This event will mark the first time ever, Fred and Frank together will share their strategies for building a sustainable business model, what to look for in a partnership, how to get a business idea off the ground, the importance of your customer and tips on cutting through the noise.
Lunch with Finder’s founders takes place on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 11am -230pm at the Tea Room, QVB.
