When Carolyn Creswell founded Carman’s Fine Foods nearly 30 years ago, she was an 18-year-old university student who bought a small muesli business for just $1000. Back then, it was just “one product in a cellophane bag with a handwritten tag”.
Now, Carman’s is a $100 million empire with its range of muesli products being sold not just across Australian supermarkets, but all around the world.

The Melbourne businesswoman is one of the judges for the 2021 Amazon Launchpad Innovation Grants, which gives entrepreneurs and small businesses the chance to win a potentially life-changing package to make those business dreams come true.
As part of the initiative, five Amazon Launchpad Innovation Grant winners will each win a grant package worth more than $200,000. Each grant package includes $20,000 in cash, marketing support and advertising packages, mentorship from Amazon experts, and industry networking opportunities. Ten finalists will be asked to pitch to a judging panel, including Carolyn, who will choose the winners.
