The Council of Small Business Organisations Australia and the Western Sydney University are joining forces next week to present an innovation games event.

The ‘games’ will provide an opportunity for small business owners interested in growing their businesses to road test ideas and solutions for business challenges with some of the uni’s best students.

10 teams each comprising a small business plus six to seven tertiary students and event theme specialists will identify a problem or challenge faced by the small businesses and work together to identify a solution(s).

The innovation games are free to participants and there are prizes on offer for the winning teams.

Participants from last year’s challenge praised the students for their innovation and problem-solving skills.

Sarang Vengurlekar, CEO, Future IQ described the innovation games as fun and well organised and said he was amazed by the calibre of student talent.

“The team I had were brilliant and it is good to see the type of talent presented by WSU. I really enjoyed the event and would love to attend again next time around. It was a great idea to provide that exposure to student who can then move forward in their career with that exposure,” said Vengurlekar.

The innovation games takes place on Thursday, 26th September 2019, 8.00am – 6.30pm, at Western Sydney University, Parramatta South Campus. Find out more.
