- November 13, 2019 2 MIN READ

Kochie’s Business Builders In partnership with Xero and Netregistry will be taking Bricks & Clicks on the road in December and the first stop is our nation’s capital.

Join us as small business expert and Sunrise host, David Koch emcees a free afternoon event in Canberra for small business owners who want to know more about taking their businesses digital and selling online. With 73 per cent of Australians now purchasing online, it’s vital small business owners grasp the opportunities that eCommerce can bring to their business, and Kochie is here to help.

To assist small business owners in getting online we’ve created Bricks & Clicks, a free step-by-step guide connecting Australian businesses to the tools and resources they need to transform from local retailers into global online brands.

At the Bricks & Clicks roadshow, business owners will get the opportunity to hear from small business experts and business success stories to better understand why your business needs to make digital part of your strategy for success.

Kochie will chat with Mick Spencer, founder and CEO of ONTHEGO . Spencer is a local success story.  Starting his business at just 21 years of age Spencer has grown ONTHEGO to become a multi-million-dollar, global e-commerce company that enables users to design and manufacture their apparel and accessories easily, online.

David will also be chatting to Xero Small business advocate Angus Capel to discuss the latest Xero’s latest innovations and how STP and e-invoicing space are affecting the small business space.

“Xero’s recent research into small businesses and their attitudes towards technology found that business owners were keen to embrace any digital tools that would help them work smarter or faster but that a lack of understanding, time and resources were holding them back,” Capel said.

“The Bricks and Clicks Roadshow is a great opportunity to learn about the digital tools available that can drive efficiencies and support with business growth. It’s also a chance to hear about issues impacting small businesses, such as new legislation like Single Touch Payroll.”

Bricks & Clicks, Canberra will take place on December 4, 2019, from 2pm-4pm at Rydges Capital Hill, 17 Canberra Avenue, Forrest, ACT 2603
