A new trend report by leading online retailer, THE ICONIC, has revealed their Australian and New Zealand customers have spent over 1000 years shopping online for their favourite fashions in 2018.
The report was released in honour of the popular e-tailer’s seventh birthday. It reveals some illuminating facts on the shopping habits of Aussies and Kiwis.
The report found since launching in 2011, The Iconic has shipped over 13 million orders to customers. Aussies and Kiwis are spending twice as much time online shopping now as they did in 2011. And in 2018 alone, they’ve already spent 440,000+ days on THE ICONIC, equivalent of 1,100 years.
As for what they are shopping for, Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars top the all-time-best-seller list followed by Adidas Originals Superstar.
In fact, Australians must have a shoe obsession. Six of THE ICONIC’s seven biggest selling items of all time are shoes and sneakers.
The data also shows Aussies love a bargain. Although Northern Territory shoppers lover a bargain most of all! While NSW residents spend the most time shopping online.
Patrick Schmidt, CEO of the popular fashion outlet described the brand’s seventh birthday as a significant milestone. He suggested THE ICONIC would continue to grow its retail footprint in the future.
