2018 Australia Post Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAS) finalists announced

The finalists have been announced for this year’s Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAS). Now in its ninth year, the annual awards celebrate the leaders in Australia’s online retail industry.

Each year awards are given out across an array of categories including Best Multichannel Retailer, Best Online Retail Marketing, Best In-Store Initiative, Best Small Independent Retailer, Best Social Commerce Initiative and the Industry Recognition Award.

1000s of submissions were received for this year’s awards/ Entries were whittled down to the top six finalists in each category.  These finalists will now compete for the top honours. Leading local and international brands, such as Deliveroo, Cue Clothing, The Body Shop, Supercheap Auto and Showpo are amongst the retailers in the running for a gong.

Event Director of the ORIAS Alice Kuepper says, “Retailers are working hard to keep up with the changing consumer expectations and fast-paced advancements in technology, and the ORIAS is the place for the community to recognise their hard work and celebrate wins.”

Kuepper says the awards’ partnership with Australia Post has been integral to its success.

“Each ORIAS sees an increase in the number of unique companies entering, foreshadowing the exciting future of Australian retail.”

Australia Post General Manager – Business, Michael Oates said the partnership with Online Retailer reinforces the commitment of Australia Post to helping online retailers excel in the growing eCommerce space.

The winners will be announced at the Australia Post ORIAS Gala Dinner which will take place on July 26 at the ICC Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Drive, Sydney.
